Customer base growth
2016 is drawing to a close, it's winter outside, and while some are already preparing for the holidays, DTEL-IX continues to work until the last request. It’s amazing how many clients decided to connect or upgrade their connection to DTEL-IX on the eve of the New Year. 8 new AS numbers, 4 ten-gigabit ports.
We are entering the New Year with pleasant chores. And as the saying goes, the way you spend New Year's Eve is the way you'll spend the rest of the year. In 2017, all we'll be doing is connecting new members and upgrading existing ones.
Expanding geography
We don't claim to be the best IX in Kyiv, Ukraine, or especially in Europe, but we are definitely the best IX on our street! In 2017, we will expand the coverage of streets where we are the best IX — we will have a new node at "Bemobile" DC. It will take some time for this node to become a full-fledged backup for the node at 50 Haidara St, but the first step will be taken as early as January.
Where to meet us
To ensure that requests for connections and tests don't stop in 2017, and to keep communication with the market pleasant and constructive, the DTEL-IX team will appear at all significant events and conferences, visit clients, and invite them to visit us.
