DTEL-IX considers several recently adopted court rulings regarding the "seizure of intellectual property rights arising from the use of Telegram channels" or web resources to be unacceptable and toxic to the industry.
The incorrect and technically illiterate application of certain norms and provisions of the Law of Ukraine "On Telecommunications" imposes impossible and absurd obligations on domestic operators and providers, which is a direct and illegal interference in the business activities of industry representatives.
Therefore, DTEL-IX fully supports the appeals of profile associations to the higher judicial instances and other state authorities to obtain comprehensive explanations of the state's position regarding interference in the economic activity of operators and violation of the rights of Internet users.
