The new communication line with Kyiv will increase the total coverage of ATMAN's fiber-optic network abroad to 8,500 km. This will allow ATM to attract new Eastern European clients and partners, while providing even higher quality services to existing ones. A direct interconnection between the ATMAN network and Ukrainian operators will provide IP service users with significantly faster and more stable data transmission, consequently increasing telecommunications security. The launch of the access node in Kyiv perfectly complements ATM's participation in four major European Internet exchange points. ATM is the only Polish operator present simultaneously at five significant inter-operator hubs in Europe while also managing its own Internet exchange point (Thinx IX), with its main hub located in Warsaw.

“Investing in the access node in Kyiv is driven by the growing demand from Eastern European customers for high-quality colocation and data transmission services, as evidenced by the increasing number of inquiries we receive from this region. Thanks to this direction of ATMAN network development, we can now provide our data transmission services to all Eastern European clients who require fast and secure connectivity. Furthermore, our presence at the Kyiv DTEL-IX enhances our potential to offer a wide range of services from our data centers, including dedicated servers. We especially recommend these to companies planning to establish a backup data center in Poland as part of their Disaster Recovery procedures. The node in Ukraine is a key element of our strategy to deliver top-quality ICT solutions to the vast Eastern European market. For this region, Poland is the nearest European Union member state, and we have colocation facilities that allow for data storage and processing in accordance with the highest European standards,” says Jacek Krupa, Vice President of the Board at ATM.

ATM's Eastern European clients have access to three modern data centers owned by the company in Poland (with a total area of 10,600 sq. m), as well as the nationwide ATMAN fiber-optic network (4,500 km of intercity communication lines). Combined with access nodes in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Moscow, and the new node in Kyiv, this extensive network also provides more opportunities for Western European clients, who can now enjoy even higher-quality connectivity with the Eastern European region. As a result, ATM is becoming a sort of hub connecting the East and West of Europe with telecommunication services.
