Parties’ responsibilities:

• DTEL-IX is liable for operability of dedicated customer’s port to group of other members;
• DTEL-IX is liable for proper functioning of DTEL-IX commutation infrastructure.
• Customer is liable for proper functioning of its own network and equipment;
• Customer is liable for compliance with Technical requirements.

DTEL-IX is not responsible for private peering arrangements between members.
For getting peering with maximum number of members Customer can use service Router Server.

Public (open) peering is efficient and cost-effective service that allows reducing costs for IP-transit. It connects all ISP’s on layer of Layer2 switches. So each member is able to create peerings with other members in order to improve availability of information resources and to create backup network routes.
Interconnection (peering) between members is based on direct mutual arrangements. Members define the form of these peering arrangements by themselves. DTEL-IX doesn’t take part in peering contracts between members and doesn’t make any influence on member’s peering policy.

After reaching the arrangement between members interconnection between networks will be set up based on BGP protocol.

If member wants to get connection to as many as possible number of networks he may use Route Server Service.
